Basketball Recap: Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy Takes a Loss

Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-39 loss at the hands of the Yantis Owls. Sadly, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-44 back in January.

Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Yantis, their win bumped their record up to 22-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy will host Cumby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cumby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy likes a good challenge. As for Yantis, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Yantis Owls duke it out with the Como-Pickton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
