Orange Grove had a senior duo take command as Logan Rodriguez rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries and Diego Garza rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns.
Orange Grove pushed their record up to 1-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Jones, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Orange Grove will challenge Falfurrias at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jones, they will square off against Ingleside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
