Volleyball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Comes Up Short

Greenfield/Northwestern lost against Triopia/Virginia back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Greenfield/Northwestern sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 8-25, 25-19.

Jaden Stambaugh was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Greenfield/Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12-1. As for Triopia/Virginia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Greenfield/Northwestern will face off against Barry Western at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Triopia/Virginia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Augusta Southeastern on the 11th.
