Reese Price Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Wren got the W thanks in part to Reese Price playing the best football he has all season. Price rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 107 or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
This year, Price has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 137.6 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Effort from Colten Bagwell Leads Wren over Fountain Inn
Colten Bagwell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wren to the win on Friday. Bagwell threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Fountain Inn's probably not too fond of Bagwell given he always seems to get the better of them. When Bagwell last faced the Fury back in September of 2023, he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.

Laurens' Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Will Thompson
Will Thompson helped snap Laurens's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Thompson did his part (and then some), rushing for 16 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 129 yards on ten of 16 attempts for the 'W'.
Laurens' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Thompson and Laurens will square off against Wren at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
