Willis lost to Grand Oaks back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildkats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Grizzlies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildkats.

Alexi Ford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Sprayberry, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Sydney Prihoda was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Willis' record now sits at 19-7. As for Grand Oaks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-10.

Willis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Oaks, they will welcome Caney Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
