Even though La Lumiere Blue scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, Elkhart Christian Academy still came out on top. Elkhart Christian Academy beat La Lumiere Blue by the very same score they won with last week: 64-58.
Aiden Hibbard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of LJ Bevier, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Trinity's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They came out on top against Lakeland Christian Academy by a score of 38-29.
Elkhart Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. Trinity's record now sits at 3-9.
Elkhart Christian Academy strolled past Trinity when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 49-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elkhart Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
