Groveton won the last time they faced Centerville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians blew past the Tigers 3-0. The Indians not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-21.
Kayleigh Albus paced Groveton's offense, picking up eight kills. Albus got some help from Alinda Veng and her 16 assists. Kady Lee and Jannett Bautista kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
Groveton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-4. As for Centerville, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Coming up, Groveton will face off against Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centerville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Palmer at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
