Softball Game Preview: American Eagles vs. Washington Huskies

American is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Washington a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The American Eagles will welcome the Washington Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for American's offense. They came up short against James Logan on Tuesday, falling 15-0.

American saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylynn Rice, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Washington also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell 4-0 to Mission San Jose on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Huskies haven't been shut out since back in February.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for American, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
