Baseball Game Preview: St. Mary's Rams vs. Tracy Bulldogs

For the second straight game, St. Mary will face off against Tracy. St. Mary's is taking a road trip to take on Tracy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Mary's is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Tracy's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: St. Mary's hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. St. Mary's never let Tracy get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Monday.

The result came thanks to Nico Bavaro's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

On the hitting side, Brady Errecart was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Dax Hardcastle, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

St. Mary's pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Tracy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.
