National rankings sure to get a shake-up with Top 25 teams taking on major challenges at several events.

Expect a major shake-up in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 as ranked teams collide across the country in what may be the biggest weekend of the year in high school basketball.

Here's a quick guide to six of the key tournaments and events beginning Thursday:

Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions
When: Thursday through Saturday
Where: JQH Arena, Springfield, Mo.
Highlights: No. 2 Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) and No. 6 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) could be lined up for a championship showdown. No. 19 Chaminade (St. Louis), Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), Christ the King (Middle Village, N.Y.) and Rainier Beach (Seattle) would love to spoil that Top 10 tilt, however.

Spalding Hoophall Classic
When: Thursday through Monday
Where: Blake Arena, Springfield, Mass.
Highlights: Where to start? Nine of the Top 10 teams in this week's national rankings will be in action. Games featuring two ranked teams include No. 4 Montverde Academy (Fla.) vs. No. 6 Sierra Canyon, No. 5 DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) vs. No. 19 Chaminade and No. 9 St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, N.J.) vs. No. 10 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.).

Flyin' to the Hoop
When: Friday through Monday
Where: Trent Arena, Kettering, Ohio
Highlights: Non-traditionals Huntington St. Joseph Prep (Huntington, W.Va.), La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) and Prolific Prep Academy (Napa, Calif.) will be looking to rebound and climb back into the national rankings.



Dan Finn Classic
When: Saturday
Where: Jersey City Armory, Jersey City, N.J.
Highlights: Legendary head coach Bob Hurley and No. 8 St. Anthony (Jersey City, N.J.) hope to pin a loss on No. 7 The Patrick School (Elizabeth, N.J.) and surpass the Celtics in the Top 25.

Burger King Classic
When: Friday and Saturday
Where: Joann Mullen Gymnasium, Erie, Pa.
Highlights: Formerly-ranked Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia) goes in a slight favorite over St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio), Canadian powerhouse St. Michael's of Toronto and host Cathedral Prep (Erie, Pa.).

MaxPreps MLK Classic
When: Monday
Where: Haas Pavilion, Berkeley, Calif.
Highlights: Unbeaten Sacramento (Calif.) will take on Moreau Catholic (Hayward, Calif.) in one of several intriguing matchups on the home floor of the California Golden Bears.
