Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Booneville walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Quitman Bulldogs 69-27. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 28 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Booneville and bumps their season record up to 7-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Quitman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coming up, Booneville will square off against Rivercrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats will need to watch out since the Colts have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. Quitman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
