Softball Recap: Edward Little Wins Going Away Against Cony

Edward Little got themselves on the board against Cony on Tuesday, but Cony never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Rams. That's two games straight that the Red Eddies have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Kassidy Lobb, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. Allison Michaud was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.

Edward Little is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cony, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
