Softball Recap: Sabetha Bluejays vs. Hiawatha Red Hawks
Sabetha entered their tilt with Hiawatha on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Red Hawks by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-1 on Thursday.
Sophia Haverkamp was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Kiera Keim was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Sabetha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
