Basketball Recap: Hamilton Skates Past Borrego Springs with Ease

Hamilton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-7 victory over the Borrego Springs Rams. That 61 point margin sets a new team best for the Bobcats this season.

Leading Hamilton to victory were Isaiah Famania and Gustavo Villalobos. Famania dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards, while Villalobos went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Novel Calloway, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points.

With the win, Hamilton broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Borrego Springs, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Hamilton will take on Julian in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Borrego Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mountain Empire at 5:30 p.m.
