Basketball Recap: Prescott Find Success

There's no place like home for Prescott, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 37-36 victory over the Altoona Railroaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-43 back in December of 2024.

Prescott's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. As for Altoona, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

St. Croix Central will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Prescott surely won't give up without a fight. As for Altoona, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Osceola at 5:45 p.m. Altoona is facing Osceola at the right time seeing as Osceola is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
