Carroll had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 17-25, 25-14, 26-24.

Carroll had a senior duo take command as Dominic Bennett had six digs and two aces and Isaiah Trulock had 17 digs. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Trulock.

Carroll's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Carroll will host Homestead at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins are facing the Barons at the right time seeing as the Barons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
