Basketball Recap: Newark Charter School Takes a Loss

Newark Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 45-34 to the Conrad Science Red Wolves. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 58-31 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newark Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Conrad Science, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Newark Charter School has already played their next game (against Wilmington Friends), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Conrad Science will head out on the road to challenge Dover at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dover will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Conrad Science surely won't give up without a fight.
