Basketball Recap: Merritt Island Christian Piles Up the Points Against Calvary Chapel Academy

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Merritt Island Christian on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles out of the water with a 58-24 final score. The Cougars pushed the score to 45-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had little chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Merritt Island Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Summer Snaith, who dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 15 boards, and ten steals.
