Football Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia's game on Friday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were outmatched by the Lawrence Academy Warriors and fell 62-34. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lawrence Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will square off against Bear Grass Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches. As for Lawrence Academy, they will welcome Mattamuskeet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
