Soccer Recap: Shawnee Wins Going Away Against Delta

Delta kept up with Shawnee until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Indians put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for Shawnee, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Delta with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Keaton Taylor, Brady Heitmeyer, and Nolan Schroeder.

Shawnee has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for Delta, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Shawnee is taking a road trip to take on Kenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shawnee will need to watch out since Kenton have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Delta, they will welcome Archbold at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
