Volleyball Recap: Naperville North Comes Up Short

Naperville North was the 2-0 winner over York when they last played one another back in August of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Dukes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

York can attribute much of their success to Emma Braathen, who had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Braathen has posted over her last ten matches.

Naperville North's defeat dropped their record down to 20-11. As for York, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Naperville North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Yorkville on the 18th. As for York, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against St. Francis on the 18th.
