Volleyball Recap: Tuloso-Midway Comes Up Short

Tuloso-Midway lost against Jones on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors & Cherokees fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The Warriors & Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tuloso-Midway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

Isabella Garcia paced Tuloso-Midway's offense, picking up nine kills. Garcia got some help from Jesslin Diaz and her ten assists.

Tuloso-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Jones, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Tuloso-Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Refugio on the 23rd. As for Jones, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against El Campo on the 23rd.
