Basketball Recap: Whiting Takes a Loss

Whiting was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 68-33 to the West Monona Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-33 on Monday.

Whiting's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Monona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Whiting has already played their next match, a 66-41 loss against Brownell Talbot on the 10th. As for West Monona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-43 win against Siouxland Christian on the 10th.
