Baseball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Model was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Corbin Redhounds.

Model saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Gorbett, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Model's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Corbin, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 18-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Model will head out to square off against Bourbon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corbin, they will venture away from home to face off against Great Crossing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Crossing will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Corbin surely won't give up without a fight.
