The Dorados will welcome the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. The timing is sure in Canyon del Oro's favor as the team sits on 18 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Sahuaro has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
On Friday, Canyon del Oro got the win against Rincon/University by a conclusive 14-2. Considering the Dorados have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

David Adams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tarrell Reid, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Adrian Encinas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Canyon del Oro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Sahuaro scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Ironwood Ridge by a score of 9-8.
Canyon del Oro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Sahuaro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17-1.
Sahuaro's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Canyon del Oro has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464. It's a different story for Sahuaro, though, as they've only averaged .337. Will they be able to contain Canyon del Oro's hitters?
