Baseball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

The Capital Cougars didn't have quite enough to beat the Parkersburg South Patriots on Friday and fell 3-2.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Parkersburg South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Capital will welcome Scott at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Skyhawks have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Parkersburg South, they will head out on the road to take on Charleston Catholic at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday.
