Volleyball Recap: Miller Comes Up Short

Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in August of 2020.

While Miller was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-23.

Miller's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Miller will take on Martin in a tournament on Saturday. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
