Basketball Game Preview: Greater Latrobe Wildcats vs. Exeter Township Eagles

The Greater Latrobe Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Exeter Township Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greater Latrobe has given up an average of 56.2 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Greater Latrobe heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They were dealt a 69-38 loss at the hands of Uniontown. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Red Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Exeter Township unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 69-49 to Hershey. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Trojans are ranked 40th).

Exeter Township's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Greater Latrobe, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.
