Softball Recap: McDonogh Takes a Loss

McDonogh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to the Mount de Sales Academy Sailors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 14-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

McDonogh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mount de Sales Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonogh will head out to challenge Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Mercy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
