Volleyball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

Uniontown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Neodesha on the 27th. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Waverly on the 27th.
