Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nixa). They blew past the Glendale Falcons 62-21 on Thursday. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Adam McKnight produced another solid effort rushing for 24 yards and three scores, while also throwing for 199 yards and one TD on only 15 passes. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nixa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glendale only rushed for 164.

Nixa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Weston Weldon, Ty Kellis, and Randy Flint picked up one apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Cameron Major. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
