Softball Recap: Western Hills Takes a Loss

If Western Hills was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Eastern Hills last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Western Hills Cougars came up short against the Benbrook Bobcats on Friday, falling 15-2. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Western Hills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Dudley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Benbrook, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Western Hills has already played their next matchup, a 14-10 victory against Carter-Riverside on the 11th. As for Benbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against Eastern Hills on the 11th.
