Soccer Recap: Mariner Comes Up Short

Mariner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Arlington Eagles. If Mariner were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to Arlington when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mariner's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mariner will take on Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, they will challenge Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arlington will be up against Cascade's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.89 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
