The Edmeston Central Panthers won the last time they faced the Milford Central Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Edmeston Central blew past Milford Central 57-34.
Despite the loss, Milford Central saw an underclassman step up: Christian Lawson scored 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. The contest was Lawson's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
The victory got Edmeston Central back to even at 1-1. As for Milford Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Edmeston Central will be home for the holidays to greet Cherry Valley-Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milford Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
