Western Reserve Academy came tearing into Saturday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bard Early College Raptors by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Pioneers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Western Reserve Academy took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11.

Western Reserve Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Bard Early College, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Western Reserve Academy and Bard Early College will both be playing Firestone the next time they take the court. The Raptors will head out to face the Falcons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Pioneers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
