Volleyball Recap: Morningside Academy Comes Up Short

Morningside Academy lost against Dreyfoos School of the Arts back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Morningside Academy Eagles lost 3-0 to the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dreyfoos School of the Arts scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Morningside Academy fell to 2-1. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morningside Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake Worth Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they will welcome Palm Beach Gardens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
