Baseball Game Preview: Brandeis Broncos vs. Reagan Rattlers

For the second straight game, Brandeis will face off against Reagan. The Broncos will face off against the Rattlers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Brandeis has won five straight at home, while Reagan won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

Brandeis is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Reagan just ended the team's 11-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 5-4.

Grayson Hallmark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Ty Jeter was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Reagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-7-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Brandeis, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5-1.
