Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linsly). They walked away with a 68-60 win over the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Wheeling Central Catholic still got an impressive performance from Kaitlyn Blake, who dropped a double-double on 38 points and 16 rebounds. Blake's afternoon made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Seneca Heller, who posted 15 points and three steals.

Linsly's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Wheeling Central Catholic, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 11-1 record.

Linsly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-66 victory against Keyser on the 25th. Wheeling Central Catholic has also already played their next match, a 64-59 win against Charleston Catholic on the 25th.
