Volleyball Recap: Grant Takes Down Tri County Area in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Grant rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Tri County Area Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Grant was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.

Gee Lillian paced Grant's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lillian got some help from Campbell Lauryn and her 11 assists. Bouwkamp Payton controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 32-17-3. As for Tri County Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.

Looking ahead, Grant will welcome Sparta at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri County Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
