Baseball Recap: Snook Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Sparta Academy

Snook Christian Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Sparta Academy Warriors 12-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Landon Rubel, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Snook Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Thad Scott, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Snook Christian Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Sparta Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Snook Christian Academy beat Sparta Academy by a score of 12-0 on Tuesday.
