Basketball Recap: Garfield Heights Comes Up Short

Garfield Heights played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Warrensville Heights Tigers, falling 78-29. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 78-22.

Warrensville Heights' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katherine Mccormick, who went 10 for 17 en route to 23 points and three steals. What's more, Mccormick also posted a 59% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Skyler Ballard, who posted eight points along with eight assists and seven steals.

Garfield Heights' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Warrensville Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
