Basketball Recap: Burnsville Takes a Loss

Burnsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Jefferson Jaguars, falling 79-40. The Blaze were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Burnsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Burnsville and St. Michael-Albertville will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Jefferson, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jefferson Jaguars face off against the Spring Lake Park Panthers at 11:30 a.m. on December 27th.
