Baseball Game Preview: Faith Christian Eagles vs. Frontier Falcons

For the second straight game, Faith Christian will face off against Frontier. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Faith Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-1 to Frontier. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Seubring is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Isaac Ortiz, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Frontier is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
