New Heights Christian Academy can't be too worried about heading out to take on Springfield Catholic: they just beat McAuley Catholic at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. In a tight game that could have gone either way, New Heights Christian Academy made off with a 48-47 victory over McAuley Catholic.

Meanwhile, Springfield Catholic lost 64-41 to Fair Grove on Friday. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Heights Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points over those games. As for Springfield Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
