Baseball Recap: New Rochelle Takes a Loss

New Rochelle lost against Ketcham back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Huguenots took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The Huguenots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alejandro Rondon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

New Rochelle now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ketcham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

New Rochelle and Ketcham should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Huguenots will take on Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (137 vs. 408). Meanwhile, Ketcham (ranked 16th) will meet Suffern (ranked 110th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
