Soccer Recap: Presentation Comes Up Short

Presentation lost against Saint Francis back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Presentation Panthers lost 7-0 to the Saint Francis Lancers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Lancers are ranked eighth).

Presentation has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-1 record this season. As for Saint Francis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-0-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Presentation duke it out with the St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Saint Francis, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory on the 13th.
