Canutillo won the last time they faced Clint and things went their way on Tuesday too. Canutillo came out on top against Clint by a score of 11-8. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Roman Ferniza looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Canutillo got a big performance out of Ian Melendez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, Melendez posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul Zuniga, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Canutillo's record is now 9-4-2. As for Clint, they dropped their record down to 6-9-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Canutillo has already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Andress on the 21st. As for Clint, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-9 victory against Gadsden on the 21st.
