Volleyball Recap: Oak Forest Bengals vs. Reavis Rams

Oak Forest lost against Reavis back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bengals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlie Davidson paced Oak Forest's offense, picking up three kills. Davidson got some help from Jacob Hladyshewsky and his eight assists.

Krystian Paluch was the offensive standout of the match as he had 15 digs. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Oak Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Reavis, the win was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Oak Forest will square off against Bradley-Bourbonnais at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bengals are facing the Boilermakers at the right time seeing as the Boilermakers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Reavis and Hubbard will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
