Volleyball Recap: Ellicott Takes a Loss

Ellicott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Calhan Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderhawks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-11.

Ellicott's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Calhan, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8.

Coming up, Ellicott will be playing at home against Banning Lewis Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Thunderhawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Calhan, they will head out to take on Peyton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
