Softball Recap: Bishop O'Dowd Dragons vs. Alameda Hornets
Bishop O'Dowd dropped their record down to 15-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Alameda Hornets. The shutout was out of character for the Dragons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Bishop O'Dowd saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaella Mercado, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Mercado has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played.

As for Alameda, they will take on Castro Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
